Derek Brahney (b. 1986) is a New York-based artist known for his conceptual approach to photography and visual communication. He uses elements of sculpture, collage and construction in his work to create images that explore the poetry in everyday objects.

In addition to his work as an artist Derek’s studio DB Works creates commissioned editorial and commercial images which have appeared widely and internationally in publications such as The New York Times Magazine, The Financial Times and M le Monde.
